UT Knoxville Alumni’s inaugural Run for Rocky Top garnered support from more than 900 Volunteers across the country who ran or walked for student scholarships.
Over the course of Oct. 16-18, alumni, donors, students, parents, and friends of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville raised money for student scholarships and showed their Big Orange Spirit. Whether they were up in the mountains, on the coast, or in their neighborhood, Vols made a difference with each stride.
“With proceeds benefiting student scholarships, participants are making a big impact on the lives of our students as they walk, run, or cheer on their friends and family,” said Chip Bryant, vice chancellor for Advancement. All registrants received a medal, socks, and a customizable bib and finisher certificate.
Many participants shared their views, UT attire, and results after the run on social media. Check out some photos from the virtual event below!
