I am a professor emeritus at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. I am a plasma physicist. I am the recipient of the 2026 recipient of the Will Allis Prize for the Study of Ionized Gases. The Will Allis Prize is awarded by the American Physical Society for outstanding contribution to the physics of ionized gases. The Will Allis Prize is sponsored by IBM, AT&T, Intel Corporation, and General Electrics.
