In coordination with athletics, we host tailgates for alumni, fans, and friends of all ages before select UT football and basketball games. Wear your Tennessee orange and come ready to sing Rocky Top!

Home Sweet Home Tailgates in Knoxville
Did you know… before each home football game, we host invite-only tailgates for Vols who chose to give back to UT during the previous year.

Home Sweet Home Tailgate FAQs
The Home Sweet Home Tailgates are hosted by the UTK Division of Advancement and Office of Alumni Relations as a thank you to academic donors to the university from the previous academic year. Different donor and loyalty groups are invited to each game.
Parking is not provided. Visit UTK Parking Services for gameday parking information.
Due to space limitations, invited guests are only permitted one guest.
Home Sweet Home Tailgate invitations are separate from football season tickets. Guests are invited in appreciation of their generous support of the University through academic giving, regardless of whether they purchase football season tickets.
The Home Sweet Home tailgate includes activities for fans of all ages, appearances from VFLs, live entertainment, complimentary food, complimentary beer provided by Yee-Haw Brewing Co., wine, seltzer, soda, and water, as well as photo opportunities with Smokey, Tennessee Spirit, and giveaways.
Current donors to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville are invited to attend. Donors are invited based on donor classification.
The tailgates begin three hours prior to kickoff and end one hour prior to kickoff.
Neyland Stadium follows a clear bag policy for all football games. While a clear bag is not required at the tailgate, we encourage guests to travel light and only bring items they plan to take into the stadium.
Yes! Guests are welcome to come and go throughout the event.
