Senior Impact

Since 1991, students have united through Senior Impact to leave UT a little better than they found it. Senior Impact gives graduating seniors the opportunity to honor their time here by making a small gift to the area of campus that matters most to them.

Seniors, we encourage you to give back your grad year by making a gift of $20.18. Whether you give back to your academic college, department, student organizations, or athletics, your gift in commemoration of your graduation year will leave an impact on UT and the generations to come.

1,556 Senior Impact
Donors Last Year

In appreciation for your generosity, seniors who pledge to give $20.18 annually for three years will receive commemorative honor cords to wear at graduation and a custom UT Alumni stainless steel tumbler. Seniors who pledge a one-time gift of at least $20.18 will also receive commemorative honor cords to wear at graduation.

Senior impact donors, regardless the size of the gift, will be invited to an alumni tailgate in the fall and student donor events throughout the year.

Let’s make the 2018 Senior Impact campaign as memorable as the Class of 2018! To set a student giving record at UT, we only need 1,700 students to make a gift. The Class of 2018 is an engaged, diverse, and passionate group of students. Alumni have paved the way for our experiences... now it’s our turn to give back and pave the way to success for future students.

"A lot of UT alumni took the time to talk to me about careers and how I could succeed, making such a huge difference in my career path. It’s only natural to pay it forward by being involved as a Volunteer leader."
Alé Dalton (’16)
"The education and life experiences we were given at UT opened the doors for us to believe we could achieve anything. We want to do the same for others."
Tommy ('73) and Susan Crunk ('80)
"I love being involved with UT. As Atlanta Chapter alumni, we bleed orange, and no matter our profession we continue 'to shadoweth thyself as we give light to others.'"
Dr. Jimmie L. McKinley ('02, '04)
Chad Owens, Class of 2019
"Becoming a student at UT has changed my life and will hopefully allow me to change others' lives someday. None of this would have been possible without the scholarships that enabled my family to afford college."
Chad Owens, Class of 2019
Meg Hutchinson, Class of 2019
