Mitch Patel is Founder, President & CEO of Vision Hospitality Group, Inc., a privately-owned hotel development and management company with a portfolio of 31 hotels affiliated with premium brands, including Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group and Hyatt Corporation. Vision’s footprint extends from Chattanooga to the Chicago area and Atlanta, and as far west as Houston, Texas.

Mitch founded Vision in 1997 when he developed his first property, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Chattanooga/Hamilton Place, where he also acted as the general manager. Since that time, Mitch has expanded Vision’s portfolio to include multiple brands throughout the Southeast and Midwest regions. Mitch’s expertise and insight are regularly recognized by industry leaders and are evidenced by his appointment to each of the Marriott and Hilton Franchisee Advisory Councils as well as serving on numerous local boards. Mitch also serves on the Chamber Board Executive Committee and the boards of St. Nicholas School in Chattanooga, Girls Preparatory School, Arts Build, Friends of the Festival, the RiverCity Company and the Governor’s Tennessee Business Roundtable.

Earlier in his career, Mitch worked for W.L. Jorden & Co. in 1993 as a project engineer where he gained a thorough understanding of project development and construction while being tasked to manage the design and development of projects throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
