Jennifer S. Banner has 38 years of experience in professional management, public accounting, and board leadership, including 14 years as a CEO and 22 years in public accounting. She is an expert in digital transformation and corporate governance, having co-authored an article in MIT Sloan Management Review on board digital savvy and serving as an MIT CISR Industry Research Fellow. She currently serves on the boards of Truist Financial Corporation, Uniti Group, Inc., CDM Smith Inc., and Elme Communities, holding key roles in audit, governance, finance, and technology committees. She previously served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (Nashville Branch) board and was the CEO of Schaad Companies, a diversified real estate firm. Banner is a consultant with the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business and was formerly the Executive Director of the University’s Forum for Emerging Enterprises. She holds Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from the University of Tennessee, both earned summa cum laude.
