Hotel Home Sweet Home

Relive your Rocky Top glory days at Graduate Knoxville. Nestled along the Tennessee River and nearby Great Smoky Mountains, our UT-inspired hotel is just steps from campus and the Fort Sanders neighborhood.

These colorful digs hold a special place in Graduate Hotels Founder and CEO Ben Weprin (’01)’s heart, “Graduate Knoxville was a labor of love for our team, and we’re honored to have created a hotel that celebrates this incredibly dynamic and proud community,” he said. “As a UT alum, I know how special this town is, and we look forward to serving as a memorable gathering place for years to come.”

Storytelling through design is fundamental to the Graduate Hotels experience, and Knoxville-specific narratives are brought to life throughout the hotel. Inside, the orange, blue and white palette mixes with vintage touches and unique accents honoring the Marble City. In the lobby, follow the bright chevron stripes and say “ahoy” to our shipshape front desk, inspired by the Vol Navy. Our cartoon gallery wall created by UT alum Marshall Ramsey depicts various UT traditions, in addition to black and white photography, sports memorabilia and scenic views of the Smoky Mountains. In guest rooms, hidden gems such as Rocky Top-inspired throw pillows, Smokey bathroom wallpaper and collegiate plaid curtains create a memorable experience for alumni, students, and travelers alike.
Saloon 16 at Graduate Knoxville

While you’re at the hotel, stop by Saloon 16 – a western-inspired saloon in partnership with VFL Peyton “The Sheriff” Manning. Tucked away behind swinging saloon doors, you’ll find Southern hospitality and game day grub with a twist. Manning worked closely with the Graduate team to fill the restaurant with memorabilia from his personal collection, making Saloon 16 the ultimate destination for Vols of all ages. The menu features beloved Knoxville staples like Cheese Bings, as well as dishes like The Sheriff’s Salmon, Saloon 16 Burger and Rocky Top Chopped Salad. Come in to watch the Vols, enjoy a casual dinner or recover at Sunday brunch.

Since opening in early August 2020, Graduate Knoxville has become a gathering place for the Knoxville community. Bursting with Big Orange pride and plenty of Volunteer spirit, you’ll feel right at home at Graduate Knoxville.
