2012 Alumni Professional Achievement Award Winner
Dr. H.M. “Hash” Hashemian is president and CEO of Analysis and Measurement Services Corporation (AMS), a global nuclear engineering consulting firm based in Knoxville. A leading expert in nuclear power instrumentation and control, he has helped ensure the safe operation of nearly every U.S. nuclear plant and many abroad. Dr. Hashemian holds three doctorate degrees and has authored three books, over 300 papers, and 21 U.S. patents. He is a Fellow of ANS, ISA, and ISEAM, a Senior Member of IEEE, and serves as an adjunct professor of nuclear engineering at the University of Tennessee.
