Gregory Cox is a senior financial analyst in the Consumer Products Group at Georgia Pacific, bringing a wealth of experience from prior roles at the American Cancer Society, The Home Depot, Macy’s, and the Simmons Company. He earned his BS in business administration in 1995 and MS in accountancy in 1996 from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Cox began his career as a staff auditor with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta and has since built a distinguished career in finance.

Deeply committed to his alma mater, he currently serves on the UT Foundation Board of Directors and has held numerous leadership roles, including president of UT’s Black Alumni Council and membership on several advisory boards. Beyond his professional and academic engagement, Cox is an active community leader, contributing to organizations such as Hands On Atlanta, the National Conference for Community and Justice Atlanta, and MENS Wear Inc., demonstrating a consistent commitment to civic engagement and mentorship.
