The Black Alumni Council in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Engagement held several alumni receptions during the past year. Special interest and diversity councils like the Black Alumni Council host a variety of alumni events to foster a welcoming community among the Volunteer family. Councils help expand access to UT for new students through scholarships, provide resources to our diverse alumni and student populations, assist and advise the university in its commitment to equity and inclusion, and support and advance UT and its people in endless ways.
The UT Office of Alumni Relations supports the Black Alumni Council and several special interest and diversity councils that represent our diverse alumni. By choosing to serve, you can make a difference for UT, its students, and your fellow alumni.
