Chapter Leader Roles & Responsibilities
An alumni chapter board should be a dynamic group of people from many different sectors of the community with diverse cultural backgrounds and professional achievements with a passion for UT. Alumni chapter board members are expected to work together throughout the year to provide programs that connect alumni to one another and back to the university.
- Participate in various planning committees that carry out the programming provided by the chapter.
- Promote events and programs sponsored by the chapter.
- Attend board meetings held periodically throughout the year.
- Make a yearly financial contribution of any amount to the university.
- Serve as a local resource for current and incoming students as well as alumni that are new to the area.
