Luther Allison

Luther Allison, musician and composer, recalls a stressful day trying to get to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for his performance. It wasn’t until he landed in Salt Lake City the next day that he got the news: he just won a Grammy.

When Kayla Hvozdovic (’24) received the Carol Poston Scholarship, it meant the ability to attend UT and chase her dreams of a career in the entertainment industry.

UT’s crowdfunding platform helped the Law Women organization to engage with a larger audience and streamline the donation process.

UT’s Vols of Honor Scholarship has doubled its number of awards in just two years, impacting 23 students this fall. The scholarship program began in 2022 and benefits students with a parent or spouse who was disabled or killed in the line of duty as a military service member or first responder.

Vols poured out support for UT on Big Orange Give, our annual day of giving that directly supports students and initiatives. The 12th annual event raised more than $2.5 million — far exceeding the $1.5 million goal.
