Throughout her distinguished career, Barbie Bigelow has served as a role model for many young engineers, and especially for young women.
She graduated from the Tickle College of Engineering in 1985 with a Master’s degree in computer science.
Bigelow has held executive positions in companies such as TASC, Lockheed Martin, B Better Technology Partners, and the Jacobs Engineering Group, one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional, technical, and construction services, where she is the senior vice president and CIO.
She is a native of Tennessee, where her family has resided for over three generations. A member of the Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative and the Executive Advisory Board for Moxie Rocket, she has recently become a member of the Tickle College of Engineering’s Board of Advisors.
