Alumni Outstanding Teacher Award Nomination

Each year the University of Tennessee Alumni Association finds four Alumni Outstanding Teacher Awards that are selected by the Knoxville campus alumni awards committee. These awards, which recognize excellence in the classroom, are part of the association’s continuing effort to encourage resourceful and creative instruction and to publicly recognize exceptional teaching, especially the teaching of undergraduates.

Recipients of the AOT award in the past 5 years are ineligible; recipients must have a minimum of three (3) years of full time-service; recipients must be full time members of the faculty and functioning in a teaching capacity at least 50%.

Recipients of the Alumni Outstanding Teacher Award will receive a $1,000 cash reward. Please submit the form below to nominate a professor for this award.

The deadline for submissions is March 10, 2025.
