Angela Yochem is the Global Chief Information and Technology Officer at Krispy Kreme, where she leads enterprise-wide digital transformation and technology innovation for one of the world’s most iconic sweet treat brands operating in over 40 countries. She also serves as an Independent Director for Zurich American Insurance Group and Zurich American Life Insurance Company, bringing deep cross-industry expertise to the boardroom.

Yochem’s executive leadership spans health care, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and technology. She previously served in leadership roles at Novant Health, BDP International, AstraZeneca, and Dell Technologies. Her early career began at UT, where she helped build the university’s network infrastructure while earning her master’s in computer science from the Tickle College of Engineering.

A CIO Hall of Fame inductee, Yochem has received the ORBIE Leadership Award and was named one of the Top 25 Women in Business by the Charlotte Business Journal. She holds three US patents in identity and authorization technologies and is a published authorwith Prentice-Hall and Addison-Wesley.

Yochem is a founding board member of T200.org, a trustee of Johnson C. Smith University, and serves on multiple boards, including Blumenthal Arts, the Charlotte American Heart Association, and several advisory boards at UT, where she and her husband established the Angela and Daniel Yochem Endowment for the Min H. Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
