Alumni Distinguished Service Professorship Award Nomination

Criteria for Selection

1. Effectiveness in teaching as evidenced in all the ways now used to identify superb teaching.
2. Distinction in a subject matter or professional field as evidenced by publications or other appropriate demonstrations of distinction; and
3. Other qualifications which may be regarded as proper supplements to the first two criteria.

The award is a $1,000 annual salary supplement for a three-year period. Recipients of the Distinguished Service Professorships will receive an invitation to the UT Alumni Association Board of Governors reception and dinner on June 6, 2025.
