Retirees who participated in the favorite holiday sweater contest at the Retirees Holiday Reception walked the “orange carpet” to the applause of their fellow retirees on December 12. Prizes for the most popular sweaters included baskets of UT swag or UT Wine. Other lucky ticket holders took home beautiful poinsettias.
The event featured a buffet, allowing retirees to enjoy a variety of delicious foods while reconnecting with old friends and colleagues. The atmosphere was filled with joy as attendees shared stories, recalled their time at UT, and celebrated the holidays together.
In addition to the sweater contest and buffet, the reception provided an opportunity for retirees to engage in meaningful conversations, strengthening bonds within the UT retiree community and making it a memorable occasion for all who attended.
