Scott Rabenold
Vice Chancellor for Development & Alumni Affairs

Scott entered the position of Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs on November 15, 2011. Scott has served the University of Tennessee since 2002, most recently as interim vice president for development and alumni affairs for the UT system and president of the UT Foundation, Inc. In that role, he played a key role in establishing the new structure for the UT Foundation to enhance statewide development operations.

In 2007, Scott began directing the $1 billion Campaign for Tennessee, while also serving as associate vice chancellor for development for the Knoxville campus. The campaign met its goal nearly 18 months ahead of schedule, and $1.3 billion was raised in total. Before coming to UT, he worked in fundraising at the University of Memphis and at Wake Forest University. Rabenold has an MBA from Drake University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from the University of Iowa.

Lee Patouillet

Dr. Lee Patouillet, a UT alumnus, is a 35 year advancement professional. Lee joined the staff as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs at UT Knoxville on July 1, 2013. He served as the chief alumni relations officer for the University of South Florida, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Florida. Most recently, he led Patouillet Consulting, LLC, a comprehensive consulting firm helping colleges and universities generate additional support and increase constituent engagement. He says, “I am honored and excited about joining a team committed to UTK’s Journey to become one of the top 25 public research universities in the country.”

Lee is a charter member of the Council of Alumni Association Executives (CAAE). The alumni organizations led by Lee have received more than 10 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awards for excellence. “I am looking forward to working with members of the university community especially the alumni to advance UT and enrich the lives of students and alumni worldwide.”
