Since its formation in 1972, the Chancellor’s Associates program has played a vital role in cultivating and enhancing greater public understanding and support between the university and the greater Knoxville community.
Members of the Chancellor’s Associates program are involved, informed, and willing to assist in articulating the mission, vision, and goals of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Jordan Spradling ('08), is the program chair for 2017–2018. Jordan is the director of transportation and logistics for Pilot Flying J.
Tom Berg ('17), serves as chair elect of the program and will
become the chair effective July 1, 2018. Tom is director of technology development and technology transfer and UT partnerships at Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge.
Harry Gross ('84), city president and executive
vice president of commercial banking at SunTrust Bank in Knoxville, is the immediate past chair of the program.
