Unite—the newest student organization at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville—will connect you with Tennessee traditions, alumni, volunteer projects, and campus and community leadership opportunities. Our goal is to link current students with alumni in a network dedicated to the university.

Tradition Begins with a T
This campus guide will help you learn what it means to be a Vol as you connect with campus traditions. You will receive a lapel pin as you participate in campus traditions and, upon graduation, a commemorative medallion.

Service Projects
At UT, “Volunteer” is more than just a nickname. Volunteer service projects with other Unite members give back to the community and make our already great campus and city even better.
Leadership Opportunities
Joining Unite is your first step to membership in the Student Alumni Associates (SAA). SAA members are the official hosts for the chancellor and president of the University of Tennessee. They assist with events of the UT Alumni Board, Women’s Alliance, alumni chapters, and other alumni events. SAA allows you to interact with student leaders, campus administrators, and alumni while serving UT and developing your own leadership skills. SAA recruits new members each February through an interview and selection process, and you must be a member of Unite to apply.*
