REUNIONS
The primary goal of the Office of Alumni Affairs is to reach out to all alumni who have passed through the doors of The University of Tennessee. With this in mind, we hold various events throughout the year to allow alumni to network and reconnect with one another.

Black Alumni Reunion - 11/7
Alumni from various cities and states returned to recognize sororities, fraternities, and lines celebrating milestones. Many activities throughout the city entertained alumni, including the Knoxville Wine Down and the Black Alumni Reunion presented by the Black Alumni Council.
Class of 1967 Transportation and Logistics Majors Reunion - 11/7
The Transportation and Logistics Majors of the class of 1967 were treated to a host of activities and beautiful fall weather for their 2009 reunion.
Rugby Club Reunion - 11/7
Sixteen members of the original Rugby Club reunited during Homecoming weekend to reconnect, reflect and celebrate being founding club members.

Alumni Band Reunion – 11/6/08, 6:00 p.m.
Wrestling Reunion - 11/7/08, 6:00 p.m.
Dr. Art Stowers was a wrestling coach and taught business law at UT in the 1970s and ’80s. If you knew him as a wrestling coach, student, or friend, we would love to have you join us to honor him for his many achievements. A dinner, reception, and wrestling clinic are being planned in Dr. Stowers honor. The dinner and reception will be held Friday, Nov. 7, at the Baker Peters Jazz Club from 7 to 10 p.m. The wrestling clinic will be held Saturday morning, Nov. 8 by former coach Gray Simons.
Daily Beacon/Orange and White Reunion - 11/7/08, 6:30 p.m.
If you remember manual typewriters, Lake Avenue, the Circle Park computer era, or the Orange and White days (pre Daily Beacon), you’ll want to attend this first-ever reunion of editorial, advertising, and production staffs of America’s best college newspaper—the Daily Beacon/Orange and White reunion. Check the UT Daily Beacon reunion group on Facebook.com to see what’s going on and who’s coming to the reunion.
The Daily Beacon publication is part of a tradition which goes back to the late 1800s. The Orange and White began publication in 1906, and the Daily Beacon was established 61 years later.
Strong Hall Reunion - 11/7/08, 7:00 p.m.
What do you remember about your time spent living in Sophronia Strong Hall? Was it the parlor with its comfy chairs, the Sophie’s burgers, the big Magnolia tree, or the lovely décor?
Alumni with ties to Strong Hall are invited back for a tour and reception of this campus landmark. Reminisce with fellow Strong Hall residents and experience the feel of sitting in Sophie’s dining Hall one last time. Don’t miss this final opportunity to see Strong Hall as you remember it and to celebrate wonderful memories.
