UT has an increasingly competitive admission process with more than 13,000 applicants in 2007

In 2008, the middle 50 percent of the fall 2008 admitted class had score ranges of 1110-1290 (SAT-CR+M) or 25-29 (ACT) and a core high school GPA range of 3.38-3.99.

Students should take the ACT and SAT more than once. It is strongly encouraged for students to take the ACT/SAT no later than the end of their junior year and again by the fall of their senior year.
