UT Career Services
A good bridge into the Real World is UT’s Career Services office. Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (likely your own future office hours, btw), Career Services offers all kinds of help.
Stop by and talk to them—for free!—about:

- Access to annual job fairs
- Career strategies
- Salary info and tips on negotiating
- The career library
- Online resources
Career Services also offers access to “HIRE-A-VOL Alumni.” The service uses a search engine with “match technology” that goes above and beyond keyword searches to help you find a job. HIRE-A-VOL runs on EmployOn software, the industry’s first search engine that’s concept-based, meaning it’s easier for job seekers, employers, and recruiters to match up.

Library Usage
Alumni from the University of Tennessee are invited to take advantage of the university libraries system. Complete details regarding library usage and access for alums can be found at the UT Libraries website.
